Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Networks Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols, preferably with expertise in Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet technologies. This individual will play a key role in maintaining, upgrading, and securing our client’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and other network-related problems.
• Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
• Monitor network performance and utilization, and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the IT team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Networks Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet networking equipment and platforms.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.
